Meadowbrook Golf Course is a historic 18-hole municipal golf facility located in Fort Worth, Texas. Established in 1924 as part of the former Meadowbrook Country Club, the course was acquired by the City of Fort Worth in 1938. Designed by renowned architect John Bredemus, who also designed other notable courses in Texas, Meadowbrook is known for its rolling terrain and challenging layout.
The par-71 course measures 6,363 yards from the Championship (Blue) tees and 5,966 yards from the Regular (White) tees, with Forward (Red) tees at approximately 5,000 yards. It features a variety of holes that cater to golfers of all skill levels. The course is recognized as one of the top 25 municipal golf courses in Texas and is among the busiest in Fort Worth.
In addition to the golf course, Meadowbrook offers amenities such as a clubhouse with a snack bar, meeting rooms, and a pro shop. The facility has undergone several renovations over the years, including the construction of a new clubhouse in the early 1990s and the addition of a patio pavilion in 2006 to accommodate large groups and tournaments.
The course is located at 1815 Jenson Road, Fort Worth, TX 76112, and operates daily from 7 AM to 6 PM. It offers a range of amenities, including benches, bike racks, drinking fountains, park lighting, parking lot, playground, restrooms, shelters, swings, tables, and water features.
